Mental Health and Counseling 

Mental Health and Counseling services at Yale are available by appointment. After an initial intake appointment, you can set up consistent visits with a therapist.  They also offer an anonymous and confidential online screening that can help students figure out if they would like to see a therapist.

The Chaplain’s Office

The Chaplain’s Office offers support through both individual support and programs that foster unity and personal growth among students. Programs include breaks organized by the undergrad Chaplaincy Fellows, Cookies and Coloring, W(holy) Queer, #YaleChaplainsBounce, and Global Grounds.  Check these events or just drop by the Chaplain’s Office in Bingham, entryway D for snacks, tea, and a place to talk. 

  •  Hours: Sunday 5:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-11:00pm, Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm

The SHARE Center

The SHARE Center staff is trained to assist with issues relating to sexual misconduct. They can offer you help anonymously via phone call (available at any hour of the day or night), appointment, or walk in.

Walden Peer Counseling

Walden Peer Counseling services include an anonymous hotline and walk-in peer counseling service offered by Yale undergraduates. 

  • Phone: 203-432-8255

  • Hours: Walk-ins welcome from 8:00pm to 1:00am every night. The hotline operates from 8:00pm to 8:00am every night. 

  • Location: Old Campus, in the basement of Welch Entryway B, room A-05.
